A&O London Docklands Riverside

I recently stayed at a fantastic hotel in London for a leisure trip. The staff at Doubletree by Hilton were professional and welcoming, particularly Mr. Alexandru at the reception. The views of the Thames and Canary Wharf from the room and the bar were breathtaking. The hotel also has a lovely terrace on the Thames where you can enjoy drinks. The location is convenient and the water taxi service is a bonus. The friendly and helpful staff made my stay even more enjoyable. The room was lovely, the food was great, and the complimentary ferry shuttle to Canary Wharf was very convenient.

Would recommend this hotel.

The receptionist was amazing, offering cookies and being very approachable. The view was great, and we had everything we asked for. The hotel is conveniently located near a bus stop and offers free ferry tickets. The staff were all amazing and made our stay enjoyable.

Great customer service from all staff. Comfortable and tidy room with good amenities. Ferry service and gym access were convenient and enjoyable. Breakfast had a good selection and staff were friendly. Convenient transport links nearby.

I recently visited a hotel in the Canary Wharf area during Christmas, and I must say I was actually surprised by two things. the location was fantastic. It was easily accessible and there were plenty of taxis available. the ferry crossing from the hotel to Canary Wharf was a great way to get around. It was quick and efficient, with crossings every 10 minutes or so. I really enjoyed the spacious and comfortable room with a queen-sized bed, overlooking the river. It was a perfect place to relax during the holiday season.

There were a couple of things that I didn't quite like. The first was the slow check-in process.

We stayed near the riverside, which was pleasant and provided easy access to London's tourist sites without using the tube. The room was comfy, and we enjoyed a nice view of the river. The breakfast buffet was satisfying, and the vegetarian options were great.

The AC also needed repair, and the water in the bathroom was lukewarm at best.

I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel in a nice, quiet neighborhood. The location was great, away from the crowds and noise of the city, but still accessible via a free shuttle ferry or a short walk to the nearby Tube station. The staff were attentive and helpful, providing excellent room service and amenities like a mini-bar and in-room safe.

Although the staff could have been more welcoming, overall my experience was positive. The restaurant was a bit of a letdown, but it didn't sour my stay entirely.

It was around a 15-minute walk from a Tube station, which made it convenient to travel around. The hotel itself was situated in a lovely quiet area, providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Additionally, there were many restaurants nearby, giving us plenty of options for dining. The staff at this place were very friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. we had a great experience here and would definitely recommend it to others.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, with easy access to Canary Wharf and the Thames river walk. The ferry service provided convenient transportation. The modern rooms were in good condition, with a good selection of TV channels and amenities such as soap, shampoo, and a kettle for tea or coffee. I also appreciated the staff's consideration of my nut allergies and their willingness to accommodate my needs.
